Some of you know me personally and know that I've been trying to loose weight, not just a few pounds, but literally like 100lbs. I've had my ups and downs like everybody I guess but being in a wedding this December, has really put the squeeze on me to shed some of those lbs as fast as possible.
I know you are thinking "100 lbs, that's a whole damn person! Did you eat the Olsen twins or something?!" The answer is no, I'm working on portion control, I only ate one of them!
In all seriousness, it's a lot of weight to loose, I have set a major goal for myself. I'm doing it for my health mostly, but getting to "hot mom" status is my ulterior motive. Prior to getting pregnant I lost close to 70lbs (in only 9 months) and was feeling pretty good [That's me and the hubs up there ^ lookin all skinny]. Then BOOM! I could have been on that "I did't know I was pregnant" show because I was seriously 4 1/2 months preggers before I knew about it (that's a different story for another time though). Cut to 3 years later and I've gained all the weight I lost back and then some. Stress, having a toddler that DOES NOT SLEEP, medications and having a profession where I sit pretty much all day, have packed on the lbs generously.
So when I was asked to be a part of two friends' wedding, that are more like family, A) I couldn't say no B) I thought to my self "Ok time to get my A$$ in gear".
